b. Use of Cookies

Op Excellence, LLC may use cookies to personalize or enhance your user experience.  A cookie is a small text file that is placed on your hard disk by a Web page server.  Cookies cannot be used to run programs or deliver viruses to your computer.  Cookies are uniquely assigned to you, and can only be read by a Web Server in the domain that issued the cookie to you.

One of the primary purposes of cookies is to provide a convenience feature to save you time.  For example, if you personalize a web page, or navigate within a site, a cookie helps the site to recall your specific information on subsequent visits.  Hence, this simplifies the process of delivering relevant content and eases site navigation by providing and saving your preferences and login information as well as providing personalized functionality.

Op Excellence, LLC reserves the right to share aggregated site statistics with partner companies, but does not allow other companies to place cookies on our website unless there is a temporary, overriding customer value (such as merging into Op Excellence, LLC.com a site that relies on third-party cookies).

You have the ability to accept or decline cookies.  Most Web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually modify your browser setting to decline cookies. If you reject cookies by changing your browser settings then be aware that this may disable some of the functionality on our Website.

c. Personal Information Users

Visitors to our website can register comments and questions to our website.  When you do, we will request some personal information such as name, address, email, telephone number or facsimile number, and other relevant information.  You may also be asked to disclose personal information to us so that we can provide assistance and information to you.

Op Excellence, LLC does not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from anyone under the age of 13 or knowingly allow such persons to register. If you are under 13, please do not attempt to provide registration information to us, including your name, address, telephone number, or email address. No one under age 13 may provide any personal information to or on the Service.  In the event that we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under age 13 without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information as quickly as possible. If you believe that we might have any information from or about a child under age 13, please contact us at meb@opexcellence.com.

Op Excellence, LLC may send you service-related announcements from time to time through the general operation of the Service.  While you can opt out of certain types of e-mails, Op Excellence, LLC reserves the right to send you notices about your account and administrative matters even if you opt out of all voluntary email notifications.  You may opt-out of receiving emails by emailing:

                        meb@opexcellence.com

and including Opt-Out in the subject line.  When you do, you will be removed from our email list.

We will not disclose personally identifiable information we collect from you to third parties without your permission except to the extent necessary including the following:

  • Op Excellence, LLC may provide information to service providers to help us operate the Service and to provide the services to you that are offered through the Service. This type of sharing may include disclosures to third parties who host the OpExcellence.com Website, help deliver e-mail updates, and help remove redundant information from Member lists.
  • OpExcellence, LLC may be required to disclose Member information pursuant to lawful requests, such as subpoenas or court orders, or in compliance with applicable laws. We do not reveal information unless we have a good faith belief that an information request by law enforcement or private litigants meets applicable legal standards.
  • Additionally, we may share account or other information when we believe it is necessary to comply with law, to protect our interests or property, to prevent fraud or other illegal activity perpetrated through the Service, or to prevent imminent harm to any person or group of people. This may include sharing information with other companies, lawyers, agents or government agencies.
  • If ownership of all or substantially all of the Op Excellence, LLC business were to change, your member information may be transferred to the new owner so that the Service can continue to operate. In any such transfer of information, your Member information would remain subject to the promises made in any pre-existing privacy policy.

4. Use of Web Beacons or GIF files

OpExcellence.com Web pages may contain electronic images known as Web beacons – sometimes also called single-pixel gifs – that allow Op Excellence, LLC to count users who have visited those pages and to deliver co-branded services.  Op Excellence, LLC may include Web beacons in promotional e-mail messages or newsletters in order to determine whether messages have been opened and acted upon.

Some of these Web beacons may be placed by third party service providers to help determine the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns or email communications.  These Web beacons may be used by these service providers to place a persistent cookie on your computer.  This allows the service provider to recognize your computer each time you visit certain pages or emails and compile anonymous information in relation to those page views, which in turn enables us and our service providers to learn which advertisements and emails bring you to our website and how you use the site.  Op Excellence, LLC prohibits Web beacons from being used to collect or access your personal information.

5. Changes to this Statement

Op Excellence, LLC has the discretion to occasionally update this privacy statement.  When we do, we will also revise the “updated” date at the top of this Privacy page.  We encourage you to periodically review this privacy statement to stay informed about how we are helping to protect the personal information we collect.  Your continued use of the service constitutes your agreement to this privacy statement and any updates.

6.  Choices and Access to Personal Information

  • As discussed above, you can always choose not to provide information, even though it might be needed to take advantage of certain features of the Service.
  • The help portion of the toolbar on most browsers will tell you how to prevent your browser from accepting new cookies, how to have the browser notify you when you receive a new cookie, or how to disable cookies altogether, though if you disable the use of cookies completely, you will miss out on many of our offerings and ease of use of the site.
  • The Federal Trade Commission provides useful information about online privacy on its own Web site, Site Seeing on the Internet http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/conline/pubs/online/sitesee.shtm.
